BBQ Duck Wings with Slaw & Cornbread

Serving Suggestion

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 180°C. Pat duck dry and season generously with salt, pepper, and herbs.
Score the skin diagonally (careful not to pierce the meat) to help fat render.
Roast duck on a rack in a tray, breast-side up, for approx. 2–2.5 hours.
While roasting, prepare glaze: combine orange juice/zest, honey, soy sauce, garlic, and a splash of water in a small pot. Simmer until slightly thick.
In the last 30 minutes of roasting, baste the duck with the glaze every 10 minutes.
Let rest for 15 minutes before carving. Serve with roasted root vegetables or wild rice.
